The hospitals in Gaza are in constant need of fuel supply to provide power their generators whenever there is power supply cut; which is a common occurrence in Gaza. The generators help to ensure that the hospitals' operations, especially the critical medical devices, continue to function during these periods.

IMAM - Response & Relief Team (IMARET)* in collaboration with Viva Palestina Malaysia is currently running a fundraising campaign to raise more funds to supply fuel to charitable hospitals in Gaza.

For the first round, we managed to supply a total of 1,000 liters of fuel to these two (2) charitable hospitals:
1. Public Aid Hospital
Friend Patients Hospital

With your generosity, we hope to be able to provide fuel to ensure the smooth running of these hospitals.

Viva Palestina Malaysia managed to raise US$5,000 for Emergency Aid For Jenin after the Jenin Refugee Camp was attacked by the occupier regime recently; displacing some 3,000 people and injuring many others.

Immediate request from Jenin was for medicines and medical aid supplies from Al Razi Hospital. Two batches of medical aid deliveries were made; these photos are from the recent second delivery.

Last week, an orientation meeting was held for beneficiaries for micro loans under our Economic Empowerment Program for Poor Families Phase-2, held in Gaza, Palestine.

We hope this program will help to elevate the economy status of the beneficiaries and their families.

First round of emergency aid for Jenin was delivered.

Alhamdulillah, Viva Palestina Malaysia's Qurban @Palestine Campaign 2023 managed to contribute 9 cows and 10 sheep for Palestinian families in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.

Four (4) Sheep were purchased through the collective Sadaqah Qurban (accumulated donations to our banks account from 1st June 2023). These Sheep are for Palestinian refugees families; 3 Sheep in Lebanon and 1 Sheep in Syria.

The numbers may not big, but they are highly appreciated by the Qurbani meat recipients.

We will share photos once available.

May Allah accept our Qurban and bless everyone involved in this campaign.

Our well and water desalination plant project in Shafa Amro School in Rafah, Gaza has finally completed.

The construction works started in April and it was officially opened in early June 2023. At least 4,000 students and staff from this school and a nearby school will now have free access to safe, clean & sweet drinking water.

Project Budget: US$14,000
This project was funded by a local foundation and several individuals from Malaysia.

There will be more entrepreneurs to be selected under this program in the near future.

Other than medical aid, education and relief (food & shelter) projects, Viva Palestina Malaysia is also providing financial support to eligible individuals/ families to sustain themselves through our Economic Empowerment Program.

This program provides financial aid for those who have good potential business ideas (or currently running businesses) that have the potential to grow further.

For the first round, 7 potential/entrepreneurs succeeded in their bid for the financial aid. They were carefully selected from amongst 1,000 applicants. These recipients have attended entrepreneurship program conducted by the relevent ministry in Gaza recently, in collaboration with Viva Palestina Malaysia.

48 students who are orphans were given school bags and Stationeries in Hebron, West Bank, Palestine.

Access to clean and safe water for consumption in Gaza has been a problem for many years. The situation is worse amongst families who are facing financial hardships.

Viva Palestina Malaysia agreed to sponsor 50 water tanks, plus supply of clean safe water for a duration of one (1) year, to 50 deserving families in Gaza, Palestine.

Yesterday, we have succeeded in distributing 25 water tanks in north of Gaza and 25 water tanks in south of Gaza.

"On sunday, 27th March 2022 Gazze Destek Dernegi (organization) (GDD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the The General Authority for Youth and Culture - Palestine to support small economic projects for youth and families with generous donation worth US$25,000 from Viva Palestina Malaysia from Malaysia. This foundation concerned with empowering youth and their abilities.

The project will be supervised by Gazze Destek Dernegi and implemented by The General Authority for Youth and Culture - Palestine. These projects will be a leverage to the Palestinian families and youth in Gaza strip; hope to reduce the unemployment and poverty rates that widespread amongst the people in Gaza Strip, and will help families and youth to get the necessary income to live a decent life.

Project No. 10/2021: Health Care Program "Baby Formula Distribution" at a Palestinian Refugee Camp in Syria.

Project cost: US$5,000

Funded by a private individual through Viva Palestina Malaysia.

830 cans of baby formula (milk) were distributed to 166 babies at a Palestinian refugee camp in Syria this week. Each baby was supplied with 5 cans each.

This is a part of a health care program being conducted on routine basis by a local NGO.

We managed to put a smile on these beautiful Gazan faces today (4 February 2021), before they undergo the mandatory lockdown for the weekend starting tomorrow.

This is our 2nd project for the year (Project No. 02/2021: FOOD VOUCHERS).

The 1st round was done on 21 January 2021. In total, we managed to provide FOOD VOUCHERS worth @US$50 per family to 160 families.
